Their work is included in collections worldwide including the Smithsonian Collection, the United Nations, the Museum of Popular Art of Mexico City, and has been exhibited at the Vatican. The Pixar movie Coco included scenes and alebrije designs from the Jacobo and María Angeles workshop in Oaxaca.
Visitors are warmly welcomed there to learn about their inspirations and processes which are supporting over 250 jobs while passing along the craft of woodcarving.
In 2017 they founded Palo Que Habla to organize and fundraise for copal tree reforestation. They have planted over 40,000 trees using native seeds.
