Since 2001, 108,000 children have enjoyed Presidio Dance Theatre as they perform excerpts from the award-winning show, DANCING ACROSS CULTURES with internationally known guest artists. 

Children's Day at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House is our most exciting outreach program initiative, providing a free performance for school aged children throughout the Bay Area.  We welcome an enthusiastic intergenerational audience of local students, teachers, seniors, and arts professionals to the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House for our free annual Children's Day performance. The diverse program delights audience members with dances from around the world, featuring performances by the Presidio Dance Theatre Company; Alma de México; Nemenzo Polynesian Dance Group; and beloved local artist Vladimir Riazantsev.
